Smashbox “Camera Ready BB Water” & Tony Moly “Luminous Aura” *Review and Demo*

Yes, I know… I legit didn’t post at all last month! But a lot of stuff occured T.T

Lost my cellphone, getting crazy hours at work, Xiumin from EXO still isn’t my boyfriend… sigh 😦

But now it’s all good in the hood, and I have returned!!!

Annndd today I bring you a review of not 1 BUT 2 products!!

Smashbox “Camera Ready BB Water”

This products claims to prime, perfect and protect (they should just called it a pp water xD jk)

This product is supposed to give you a demi-matte look and it’s formulated to last a long time!

It’s alcohol free (means no shine and no drying) and it also comes in tons of shades. I am really glad the cosmetic industry is trying really hard to create shades for almost everyone!

Let’s try it out

I applied this product with a beauty blender. I feel like it gives you the best finish!

This stuff is super watery (hence the name xD)

Then I added some of the Luminous Aura

You can use your own ratio but I did 2:1 with this. The Luminous Aura will work with just a small amount

*END RESULT*

Super dewy and healthy looking skin.

But if you ain’t about that “all-over” dewiness and want to mattify some areas of your face I would recommend to use a brightening powder.

The Sephora Collection “Bright Set” powder in banana should do the work!

I put some powder on my T-Zone so it didn’t get too oily!

But I was completely happy with then end result.

Now let me give you a quick rundown of the Luminous Aura:

Sephora Website: Tony Moly’s multitasking Luminous Goddess Aura Beam creates a luminious glow with its real pearl powder. Enriched with collagen and natural oils that are known for their antiaging and hydrating benefits, it can be used alone or mixed with your foundation. Perfect for every skintone, this powder nourishes skin with argan, almond, and jojoba natural oils and extracts.

I haven’t seen any of the “anti-aging” results but it definitely hydrates. It works really well and you can also use it as a highlighter.

CONCLUSION

• Great products. I would recommend the BB water for people that do not have much to cover. I would say it has a light to sheer coverage, but you can use it with your favorite concealer or foundation
• If you ain’t about that extra dewy life, then the Luminous Aura is not for you. This stuff will give you “I-just-came-out-of-a-korean-drama-shooting” dewiness. But if you love it, then you should go to Sephora now and buy it!
• Neither of these products broke me out! I was really happy about that.
• I give these products a 5/5

Btw you guys, it is summer here and it is hot as all hell! I hate hot weather, but I have to just suck it up! (I specially hate Ohio weather, ugh it’s so sticky) But this also gives me an excuse to get more products are are aimed to help your complexion for those hot summer days!

Les dejo saber que ya es verano aqui donde yo vivo y esta super caliente. Yo odio el clima caliente, pero que le voy a hacer? (Yo odio especialmente el clima de Ohio porque es super humedo T.T) Pero eso me da una escusa para poder comprar productos que ayudan a mi complexion en estos dias calientes de verano!

So today am back with another review and I have to say that I really like this product hehehe it is soooo cute!

When you spray it you get quite a lot of product, so I would advise to just spray it twice.

Cuando aprietas el spray sale bastante producto, entonces recomiendo que solamente los aprietes dos veces.

Alright, now let’s talk about the real reason this product was made for (not just for my personal entertainment xD)

Bueno, ahora vamos a hablar sobre la razon real que este producto fue hecho (no solamente para mi propio entretenimiento)

So this is what this product claims to do:

Back of the box: Soothing, hydrating face mist infused with fruit extracts to help boost elasticity while moisturizing dry, tired, or sensitive skin.

Atras de la caja: Relajante, hidratante mist para la cara infundido con extracto de frutas que ayudan a aumentar la elasticidad y al mismo tiempo hidratar piel seca, cansada y con sensitividad.

When you first spray it on your face you can smell the delicious aroma of fresh fruit. You can’t quite pinpoint exactly what fruit smells like because it comes with a blend of quite a lot of different ones. It comes with strawberry, peach, kiwi, apple, pineapple, grape, cranberry, raspberry and blueberry. (Dang)

Cuando te rocias el mist por primera vez tu puedes oler el delicioso aroma a fruta fresca. No puedes exactamente decir a que fruta huele porque viene con una mezcla de diferentes frutas. Viene con fresa, durazno, kiwi, manzana, piña , uva, arandano y frambuesa.

So product also claims to have aloe vera which is very beneficial for the skin, specially for irritated skin. (Talking about Aloe Vera,I did a review on the Nature Republic Aloe Vera if you guys want to check it out it’s just click here)

Este producto dice tener aloe vera que es muy beneficioso para la piel, especialmente para la piel irritada.

As for refreshing your face, I would say that it does the job. I really like how it feels on your face and it absorbs really quickly too. Unfortunately it won’t last all day, but I think that that’s the point of this product. It is small enough that you can carry it around and give your face quick fix of hydration, and you don’t have wait for the product to get absorbed so you can go out to the world in order to look normal xD

Y por lo que dice que refresca la cara, yo diria que si hace el trabajo. Me gusta como se siente en la cara y se absorbe facilmente y rapidamente. Unfortunadamente no te dura todo el dia, pero creo que ese es el proposito de este producto. Es pequeño que tu lo puedes cargar y darle a tu cara un poco de hidratacion rapida, y tampoco tienes que esperar que el producto se absorba para poder salir al mundo con una cara normal xD

I actually know that in Korea it is a staple product for every office. People tend to carry these products around and give themselves a quick spray every now and then. Man, we need to learn from Korean people hahaha

En Corea este producto es muy importante en las oficinas. La gente tiende a cargar estos productos y rociarse a menudo. Wow, deberiamos aprender de la gente Coreana jajajajaja

CONCLUSION

• I CAN’T WITH THE PACKAGING! IT’S SOOO KAWAII!!!
• El empacado es demasiado para mi jajaja es demasiado lindo
• It is super convenient to carry around, you  just pop it in your purse and you are ready to go 🙂 
• Es muy coveniente para cargarlo, solo lo tiras en tu bolso y estas lista para salir
• I like the fact that you don’t have to spray it a lot of time in order to cover your whole face
• Me gusta que no lo tienes que apretar muchas veces para cubrir tu cara
• The smell it’s so yummy!
• Huele delicioso
• It is a great alternative if you are looking for an inexpensive face mist. This one retails for $15 dollars at Sephora. I believe that Urban Outfitters also carries Tony Moly on their website, I am not sure if they have it in store per se.
• Es una buena alternativa si estas buscando un mist barato para la cara. En realidad no se donde lo vendan en Latino America. Si alguien sabe, porfavor me podrian decir 🙂
• I give this product a 5/5. It’s super cute, refreshing and it smells so good! 
• Le doy a este producto un 5/5. Super lindo, refresca y huele bien!
