I am back with another review 🙂
Today I will review the Innisfree Mellow Cream Lipstick.
I am a hardcore fan of Innisfree. I always stalk their website and I always google their products too (I need to staph). So I decided to purchase one of their products and see how I liked it. Since I am a huge lipstick junky I decided to start with their lip products. I actually bought this lipstick a while back, and it was a great idea since we were in the middle of winter and my lips needed hydration A.S.A.P!
I present to you the Innisfree Cream Mellow Lipsticks 😀
So the point of these lipstick is to give you hydration and make your lips looks really shiny.
They come in 10 shades (so pruuuty :D)
In this picture above you can see that they produce the effect of a gloss over the lips.

Im Yoona of Girl’s Generation (kpop girl group) promoted and modeled this product for Innisfree. (This picture led to me to buy the shade that I now own. Pictures are influential my friends T_T)
NOW LET’S GET TO THE REVIEW

This is a really pretty color. I was very impressed with the packing. It is really pretty, but it could get messy if you get makeup all over the tube, since it is white. (Yes, I see that you keep your makeup in a makeup bag and when you open it it looks like a hurricane just passed through)
Since this isn’t a non-traditional lipstick tip, it could look a little funky at first. But trust me, it actually allows you to apply the product without much error.
When I first purchased the product I applied it without a lip liner, but I noticed the the lipstick bled to much. 😦
So let me show you how I usually use this bad boy :3
Always start with clean lips. I usually scrub my lips at least 4 times a week in order to keep them healthy and not crusty.
1. First I line my lips (I use Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On lip pencil in 69)
One of my tricks to apply lip liner is to draw an x in your cupid’s bow part. This will help make it look more define (Please disregard my 1st grader drawing skills xD)
2. I fill-in my lips with lip liner 🙂
3. Apply Cream Mellow Lipstick
(Lol I got lipstick on my teeth xD)
CONCLUSION
- I really like this lipstick. It delivers moisture and it looks really pretty on the lips. I like the fact that you can use it during winter and your lips will be the ones that shine everywhere you go xD
- The product won’t last long if you don’t use a lip liner 😦
- Super glossy finish that gives me life :3
- It also has quite a comfortable price. I got it for $10.75 at kpoptown.com
- I give this product a 5/5. I wasn’t suspecting it to last long (since it isn’t a stain) and it truly delivers moisture and a glossy finish to your lips. The rest of the shades are to die for and the packaging is so kawaii :3
